There's a BBC documentary posted on YouTube. The information under the video states that it's being posted using Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976. A search showed that was the Fair Use part of the Act and it's part of US Law.
Can an entire programme posted to YouTube be considered "fair use"?
Here's an interesting post about fair use. Everything I've read about fair use applies to text, not videos, but I can't imagine that they're that different.
That's right. In the US, the floor at ground level is generally the first floor. Above that are second, third, etc., and sometimes below that are basement or garage levels. "Ground floor" and "first floor" are generally synonymous. Of course, then you have buildings that are built on a hill, so the entrance on one side could be on the first floor, and the entrance on the other side be in the basement!

Unlikely

Thank you
Thank you very much.
Floor numbering
Am I right in thinking that, in the story, the floor labelled as "first" is the ground floor?
{edit: I should have posted this in the Chatoyant College section)
I ask because in the UK, we refer to the floor at ground level as "Ground" and the "first" floor is the floor above that.
Yes
