Artist's Rendition

Okay, so I know I remember Clare saying that she started this out as a webcomic, but I'm glad she changed it over to a serial.

Here's my question: Since she was going to make it a webcomic, then she obvoiously has some sort of artistic ability, and I'm wondering if we can get the artist's view of each of the main characters. Perhaps as new characters are introduced, a drawing of them could be posted as well?

I do have sketches of each of the three main characters (though I need to fix Corrie's... I put her elbows in the wrong place). Maybe I'll make them donation/promotion incentives if people are interested.

Character description sheets

Maybe before having rendition art we would need to make quite precise character description sheets. Thoses sheets will help to know the approximative height (and who's taller than who), eye color, hair color, skin color, etc, ...

Also a map of the college and the architecture style of each of the building would help too if someone wanted to make view of the campus. There is wuite enough information about the woods because the trees are well documented. But for example I have the court of faeries is not really documented.

Anyway, I'm gonna think about it. Maybe the author, clare, has this kind of sheets already set up and would agree to share ? publicly or in private ?

I'm not a real artist but I know my way around a computer. :)

Hmm, one thing that I think I would correct is that Leila usually wears turtlenecks, not T-shirts. But maybe I've described her as wearing a T-shirt at some point...

The idea is to make the Chatoyant College collection more visual.
I did those covers for Round Spine Cloth Hardcover Books. But they could do fine digitally. Hope you like it. If all the books had titles.. the hole collection would have been done by now. :p

I think you should include the eyes of the Chatoyant College banner on the top where you put "Chatoyant College" (see to the the vote button at the left or the TWF banner or maybe Clare can provide another one)

I'll have to change a bit the colors for book 1 to 3. Patterns are really too dark. Making the text look darker too.
Yes cat eyes could be nice maybe they could be the two E of college ?
And for second thoughts, maybe book 6 could have a title related to the moon.

Well, they look nice. Though the first one *lol* with the eyes as "e"s in college looks funny because of the remaining "g" -- almost like an elephant :P

I like the third "logo" best, myself... The cat eyes in place of Es are cool, but it's a bit hard to tell what they are at first!

The cat eyes in my ads are actual photographs of my cats' eyes, so I don't know how they'd look on the book cover, next to the more logo-like images. But if you want to try putting them in, go for it.
